This web site was designed to show you the many different perennials that I grow in the mountains of southern Vermont. Maybe it will encourage others to start their own perennial gardens. This part of southern Vermont is usually considered Zone 5 but because of the elevation here (about 2200 feet) not all Zone 5 plants will survive our tough winters and short growing season, so when purchasing new plants I prefer things labeled to grow in at least Zone 4.
